An impromptu summer walk on a rainy day up the Pororari River. You know the sort where you have friends visiting and you’re showing them around and decide to just walk ~a little way up~ even though it looks like it might rain so you chuck on yo

Two things I’m working on for painting more impressionistic ⬇️

1- paint a more cropped scene, not the whole landscape.

2- don’t soften edges, texture is good 😅
